Description

The limited-edition Baabuk Pomobuk slippers are made in Nepal from the natural product wool felt and upcycled Pomoca ski skin remnants. With wool's natural properties of heat retention and moisture management, the closed-construction, comfortable slippers are very comfortable to wear with their outsoles built from production scraps of freeride ski skins. The longer you wear them, the better their shape adapts to your individual foot shape.

Please note: Due to the good gliding qualities of the ski skin sole, the shoe is rather slippery in one direction and should therefore not be worn on slippery or inclined floors!

Other advantages of wool such as natural, antibacterial effect against odour, the perfect recyclability or even biodegradability are already convincing arguments.

In addition, the Swiss company B-Corp is certified, which means, for example, standards for social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency apply.

The wool used for Baabuk slippers comes from New Zealand and is obtained from sheep for whose animal welfare the company is committed. The soft cushioning insole is also made from this material. The processing is done according to traditional methods by hand in Nepal - here, too, the family business guarantees fair wages, a high proportion of women among the employees and that no child labour takes place.
