<p>Alongside the West Highland Way and the Southern Upland Way, the Speyside Way is the third of the classic Scottish long-distance trails. It leads from Buckie first along the North Sea, then along the River Spey through the center of Scottish whisky production to the mighty Grampian Mountains. Along the way, you will pass some of the most renowned whisky distilleries. The entire route is described in several self-contained individual stages. This gives walkers who do not want to walk the entire route the opportunity to limit themselves to certain sections of the trail.
