<p>The Garmont 9.81 Onyx Mid GTX is a dynamic speed approach shoe with additional support in the ankle area. It is suitable for technical approaches, demanding trails and fast mountain tours where you want to combine stability and mobility.</p>
<p>Thanks to the PFC-free GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane, your feet stay dry even in wet conditions without compromising the climate inside the shoe. The Heel Lock System reduces heel slip and supports a secure fit, while the a.d.d.® system with precise lacing and anatomical construction ensures a natural fit. The mono-density EVA midsole with ergonomic ESS insert stabilizes the midfoot. The Vibram® outsole with Megagrip compound and Traction Lug technology ensures reliable grip on rock, scree and wet ground.</p>
<p>The mid-cut gives you additional support in the ankle area without sacrificing the lightness and dynamism of a speed approach shoe.</p>
