<p data-start="322" data-end="788">The Katadyn Explore is a robust water filter for demanding outdoor use - ideal for trekking, bushcraft and expeditions. Thanks to its modular 2-stage system, it offers reliable filtration even with great amounts of contaminated water: the durable ceramic cartridge (0.2 micron) removes bacteria, protozoa and microplastics, while the replaceable activated carbon segment reduces taste, odors, turbidity and chlorine.</p> <p data-start="790" data-end="1152">Depending on the water quality, the filter delivers up to 20,000 liters of filtered water through the ceramic stage and up to 500 liters through the activated carbon. With its stainless steel pump mechanism and integrated pressure relief valve, the Explore is designed for durability and high resilience - even with regular use under difficult conditions.</p> <p data-start="1154" data-end="1448">A special feature: the Explore can be upgraded at any time. With the optionally available upgrade kit, it can be expanded to the Katadyn Explore Pro - for example with an additional virus filter module. This flexibility enables individual customization depending on the destination and requirements.</p> <p data-start="1450" data-end="1632">Cleaning and maintenance are simple and efficient thanks to the pump clip with integrated tool. The filter cartridge can be cleaned several times and can be safely stored in a dry place.</p> <p data-start="1634" data-end="1866">With a weight of just 480 g and compact dimensions, the Explore water filter fits in any luggage and reliably supplies clean, neutral-tasting drinking water.</p>
