The North Face

Description

The Summit Verto SA GORE-TEX mountain boots from The North Face were developed for demanding alpinists who don't want to compromise on quick routes. As three-season, technical mountain boots, they combine cleverly designed functionality with low weight - perfect for high alpine routes in changeable conditions.

The Dyneema® ripstop fabric upper offers an impressive balance of weight, abrasion resistance and stability. The integrated, PFC-free GORE-TEX membrane provides reliable protection against moisture, while the waterproof zipper offers additional weather protection. A reinforced toe cap and all-round rubber rand ensure durability in contact with rock and ice.

The BOA® twist closure allows precise, one-handed adjustment - even when wearing gloves. Inside, a flat, snug-fitting bootie provides excellent support on technical passages. The sole construction brings the foot closer to the ground, which increases precision when climbing - ideal for combined routes or ridge ascents.

The PU midsole is reinforced with a continuous carbon plate and provides the necessary stiffness for demanding climbing movements. The Vibram® Mont outsole with 5.5 mm robust lugs offers excellent grip on rock, snow and ice. Thanks to the integrated Pebax® heel clip, the shoes are also compatible with semi-automatic crampons.
