<p>The Summit Breithorn trousers from The North Face are the perfect choice for alpine mountain sports. <p>These pants offer excellent warmth thanks to the 800 ProDown™ filling and retain their bulk even in wet conditions. The recycled polyamide material with Pertex® provides additional water resistance and improved downproof properties. A DWR impregnation offers additional protection against moisture, while the weatherproof ripstop overlay on the seat, knees and legs provides extra abrasion resistance. <p>The pants are designed to be worn over a base layer, although men may want to choose a larger size and women a smaller size. The elasticated waistband at the back and drawstring at the waist allow for an individual fit. Practical features such as the two-way zipper, side drawstrings and a waterproof thigh pocket offer a high level of comfort and functionality. The pre-shaped knee sections and elasticated cuffs with press stud fasteners ensure optimum freedom of movement and protection on any alpine tour. <p>So the next expedition can come and you're ready!
